TOUR OF OUR FACILITIES
|
John H. Enders Fire Company is housed in a building
located in the town of Berryville. It is located on
South Buckmarsh Street (US Route 340). We currently have
2 double wide, double deep bays and 5 regular bays. The
fire bays are 4,830 square feet with the rescue bays
consisting of 2,600 square feet of space. In the rescue
bays you will find our electric hose dryer along with
the in-station 6,000 psi cascade system. A dayroom which
consists of a kitchen, radio and computer area, and a
lounge is located between the fire and rescue bays. Up
stairs you will find the EMS supply room, 6-person
unisex bunk room and the county career staff
supervisors office. The social hall measures 50 foot by
60 foot (3,000 square feet) and includes a stage, 2
large bathrooms and a large kitchen. Above the social
hall is the officer area. There is an office for the
chief, fire captain, rescue captain, president,
secretary and treasurer. The board and officers meeting
room is also located there. Behind the firehouse is a
large barbeque pit along with a parking lot for the
social hall. |
